Medal Presentation at Mildura.
On Thursday the 15th October 2009 John Forrest MP Federal Member for Mallee and Patron of the Sub-Branch with the help of Lt Ted Guinea presented 5 Australian Defence Medals at the Mildura R.S.L. to the following, Ken Harris, Fred Brown, Ron Woulfe, Richard Kernebone, and Alan Phillips.

Widows' Brooch Presentation at Mildura.
On Tuesday 8th December 2009 John Forrest MP Federal Member for Mallee and Patron of the Sub-Branch was in attendance at our December General Meeting and Pre-Christmas Luncheon to present Widows' Brooches to the following ladies, Myrtle Perry, Faye Adams, Anita Fundak and Chris Elliott.
Jim Petter Sub-Branch secretary said the Brooch recipients were wives of members who had passed away over the years.
Member for Mallee John Forrest said the Brooch recognised the contribution of veterans' spouses.
"It's a statewide initiative to give them something in recognition," he said.
"As patron of the Sub-Branch I'm pleased to be here."
